Are we a Stripe company?

No, we are not owned by Stripe. The app was created to fill needs for ourselves. Now we share it with you for free. We integrated with the Stripe API to allow you to connect your account to the PaymentWiser app and collect charges.

Are there any monthly fees or limits?

Absolutely not. You're welcome to charge as much as you'd like whenever you'd like. There is no monthly minimums, subscription fees, or setup fees. You only pay 0.1% + 10¢ additional fee on top of standard Stripe fees.

When will I receive my money?

As always, you can check on the status of your transfers at any time by visiting: Stripe Balance & Payouts
The timing of Stripe transfers depends on your status of your account, when you created it and how many charges you have collected. The first transfer may take up to 14 days, with subsequent transfers happening on a rolling 2 day basis.

How does refund work?

Refunds use your available Stripe balance—this doesn’t include any pending balance. If your available balance doesn’t cover the amount of the refund, Stripe debits the remaining amount from your bank account.
If the original charge underwent currency conversion, the refunded amount converts back using the same process. There are no fees to refund a charge, but the fees from the original charge aren’t returned.
Stripe submits refund requests to your customer’s bank or card issuer immediately. Your customer sees the refund as a credit approximately 5-10 business days later, depending upon the bank. Once issued, a refund cannot be canceled. Disputes and chargebacks aren’t possible on credit card charges that are fully refunded.

Which currencies are supported?

We support any currency that is currently supported by Stripe. In addition, you can also change the currency in the event that you're traveling and need to charge in something other than your default currency. You can view the entire list of supported currencies.

Does the app store my information?

No, everything is stored at Stripe.

Who do I contact for support then?

If there is a problem with your Stripe account, you can email Stripe using this form. If there is a problem with the app (crashing, unexpected behavior, feature requests, etc), you can email to paymentwiser@gmail.com.

What ecommerce storefronts does this app work with?

Any storefront that utilizes Stripe for payments can work seamlessly with this app. This includes some of the larger platforms like Squarespace, Shopify, Bigcommerce, BigCartel, Weebly and WooCommerce. Your inventory from these stores are NOT linked to the app, you will just receive payments to the same Stripe accounts.

Is the app only for U.S. customers?

Stripe supports payments all over the world and supports all of the countries Stripe supports. See all Stripe supported currencies and sign up to be notified when Stripe is available in your country.

What if I no longer want to use the app?

You can simply delete the app from your device. As an extra precaution, you can also log in to your Stripe account and deauthorize the paymentwiser for Stripe application.
